Senior Software Engineer
Exciting contract opportunity for someone who loves technology, and is highly motivated to be successful and grow their career as a Senior Software Engineer within a top notch enterprise environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing and deploying Web and .NET-based applications and services
- Leading and conducting design and code reviews for both peers and junior developers
- Participating and being an advocate for issue resolution and change control processes
- Working closely with business leaders to understand strategic and financial objectives and then translating them into technical specifications and applications
- Leading and participating in architecture and design meetings for major components and sub-systems
- Developing and documenting designs for components, modules and sub-systems
- Assisting Director with defining and estimating project task effort and required resources
- Recommending and driving best practices, standards, processes and tools
This is a contract opportunity through the end of 2026. Candidates must be located in St. Louis, MO and work 4 days a week in office and 1 day remotely (Friday)!

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 7+ years of full lifecycle software development experience in enterprise environments
- Core Tech Stack: C#, .NET Framework/ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, and Web Services/APIs
- Web Fundamentals: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, XML
- Architecture: SOA, design patterns, and mission-critical system architecture
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Application development/integration experience with Team Foundation Server version control software
- Experience working in a production environment with IIS 7, SQL Server 2014
- Security software development training
- Automated testing tools/regression testing
- Open source tools and technologies

Pay range: $76-79/hour W2
