Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a variety of systems, including security, fire alarm/life safety, and/or building automation.
Interprets basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications to determine installation procedures. May require assistance with more complex setups.
Operates and commissions systems, identifies malfunctions, and writes routine programs.
Acts as “our customer’s best service provider” at all times.
Collaborates with engineering personnel to troubleshoot unusual system issues and warranty concerns.
Proactively identifies project risks, communicates them, and supports mitigation strategies to stay on time and within budget.
Works closely with the Project and Operations Managers, offering input on project scope, quality, and customer satisfaction improvements.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ideally 5+ years of industry experience (open to less)
experience with security (Access control, Intrusion, CCTV, etc.).
Experience or certifications with one or more of the following systems; (Lenel, Genetec, Software house, Bosch, Avigilon, DMP etc.)
