Lead Salesforce Developer / Architect

We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce Technologist & SME who can own, drive, and design big-picture solutions and code. This role sits at the center of Sales, Service, and Marketing initiatives—owning the platform, shaping strategy, and making Salesforce work harder for the business (and easier for users).

You’ll act as both architect and hands-on leader: designing scalable solutions, guiding implementation partners, mentoring internal talent, and collaborating closely with business and IT leaders. Approximately 40% of your time will be spent on hands-on development.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the go-to expert for all things Salesforce

  • Design and deliver end-to-end solutions across Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud

  • Build custom functionality using Apex, LWC, APIs, and platform tools

  • Translate business needs into scalable, user-friendly solutions

  • Oversee platform health, optimization, security, and scalability

  • Lead developers/admins, set technical standards, and review work

  • Own deployment, release, and CI/CD strategies

  • Ensure quality across internal builds and partner implementations

  • Create solution documentation, diagrams, and training materials

  • Enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards

What You Bring

  • 9+ years of Salesforce platform experience

  • 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development (and still coding at least 20% of the time)

  • Deep expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

  • Strong architecture and leadership background

  • Full-cycle Salesforce implementation experience

  • Proficiency with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD, and release management

  • Integration experience (APIs, middleware, ETL, ERP alignment)

  • Agile delivery experience (Jira or similar)

  • Strong communication skills across technical and executive audiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
