Field Project Manager
Great opportunity to join a fast-growing tech team with a leading independent systems integrator.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee overall site operations to ensure project completion within budget and scope.
- Supervise technical staff, installers, and contractors; may include mentoring and coaching.
- Coordinate subcontractors and verify quality assurance standards.
- Work with project coordinators to implement installation plans and procedures.
- Identify potential risks and communicate strategies to minimize impact.
- Ensure installations meet local and national standards.
- Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire, and building automation systems.
- Act as main point of contact for technical support and client training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time, direct hire role, fully onsite, covering local client sites in the greater metro Omaha area. Minimal travel. Limited on-call, typically less than once monthly. Includes vehicle, tools, PPE, uniform, phone, and laptop. Strong internal team with room to grow!
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong field supervision and installation experience with electronic security systems.
- Technical knowledge of systems such as access control, video monitoring, and related software.
- Ability to assess quality and provide training post-assessment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- College degree in electronics or related field.
- Previous project management or supervisory experience.
