Sr. Product Owner

Exciting 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity for a highly motivated Sr. Product Owner who loves technology and wants to grow within a top-tier enterprise environment.

You will partner with the Product Manager and business SMEs to elicit requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage team backlogs

• Participate in Program Increment planning and release planning

• Lead sprint activities and guide the development team

• Act as a key stakeholder in product decisions

• Drive value across cost, time, functionality, and quality

• Evaluate roadmaps and identify features for development

• Produce workflows, data mapping, and business process designs

• Partner with Architects and Tech Leads on non-functional requirements

• Coordinate releases and product integration testing

• Collaborate with QA on automated test cases

Role requires candidates to be located in St. Louis, MO with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 remote).

Required Skills

• 7+ years as a Product Owner
• Experience working in a technical environment with API's. Knowledge of SQL.

• Experience with AI-driven insights and productivity tools

• Agile/Scrum/Kanban and SDLC expertise

• Strong leadership, innovation, and motivational skills

Preferred

• Scrum Product Owner experience

• SAFe familiarity

Pay: $80–$91.84/hr W2
