DevOps / GenAI Scientist
We are seeking a DevOps professional who has transitioned into Data Science and GenAI, with hands-on experience deploying LLM solutions into production. This role focuses on building and operating enterprise GenAI applications, including pushing LLM and RAG solutions into EKS environments.
Responsibilities

Enhance and support an enterprise AI chat and document intelligence platform

Design, build, and optimize LLM and RAG pipelines

Develop backend APIs and reusable AI tools for scalable, multi-team adoption

Translate business document and data needs into production AI solutions

Support production deployments through monitoring, logging, and performance tuning

Extract and analyze large volumes of corporate documents using NLP and AI
-
Build conversational AI systems for enterprise knowledge discovery and decision support

Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems (OAuth, LDAP, cloud services)

Design microservices-based, production-ready AI platforms
This is a 6-month contract with strong extension potential. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite) in Midtown Atlanta with access to MARTA, paid parking. Candidates outside Atlanta may work fully remote.
Required Skills

4–5 years of DevOps experience

2+ years building production LLM solutions

1+ year deploying GenAI applications to EKS

Python development
-
Experience with LangChain, Pandas, and Scikit-learn

Pipeline architecture and Terraform scripting for EKS

GitHub development and maintenance

Strong API and production AI system experience

Knowledge of RAG architectures, embeddings, and semantic search

Cloud-based AI deployment experience

Master’s degree in a related field
Preferred Skills

Experience with MLOps, microservices, authentication systems, and AI observability
