RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and own the technical architecture for procurement platforms, with an immediate focus on P2P (Procure-to-Pay) systems.
- Design integration patterns between procurement tools (like Birch Street) and core ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday).
- Provide technical governance during solution delivery to ensure adherence to the approved architecture.
- Lead the evaluation of build vs. buy decisions and the selection of new technology and vendors.
- Design procurement data models, KPIs, and reporting frameworks (spend analytics, supplier scorecards).
- Drive the adoption of data governance and master data management (MDM) practices.
- Review and approve detailed design documents, data models, and API specifications.
- Develop reference architectures, solution blueprints, and technical roadmaps aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Partner with Procurement, Finance, and IT leadership to capture requirements and define the solution scope.
This is a 6-month contract with a possibility to extend or convert to direct-hire. Work a hybrid schedule in Atlanta, 3 days in office.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 10+ years of overall experience in an enterprise environment
- 5+ years of experience as a SME in a procurement business function
- Procurement Domain Knowledge (S2P, P2P, S2C)
- ERP Integration experience (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, Workday)
- Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
- API Design & Integration (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, EDI)
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Platforms
- Source-to-Pay Platforms (Coupa, Ariba, Jaggaer, Ivalua)
- Data Modeling & Architecture
- Microservices & Event-Driven Architecture
- Security & Compliance (SOC2, GDPR, ISO 27001)
- Solution Design Documentation (C4, UML, ArchiMate)
- Agile / SAFe Delivery Methodologies
