Collections Representative
This is an exciting opportunity for a Collector Representative to protect company assets and maintain customer relations in the RAC/RSB Credit & Collections team. You will lead the recovery process for delinquent RAC-financed and Bad Debt accounts using outreach, negotiation, and skip tracing while guiding customers with professionalism and empathy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contact delinquent accounts to negotiate compliant payment plans and settlements.

Educate customers on account terms, payment options, and delinquency outcomes.

Conduct skip tracing research to locate unresponsive or missing account holders.

Manage high-delinquency and charged-off accounts with persistence and tact.

Accurately document all customer interactions and account updates in real time.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated issues and improve recovery.
Full-time contract-to-hire, remote (near Atlanta, GA). Mon–Thu 10am–7pm, Fri 8am–5pm.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

2+ years of professional collections experience with high-delinquency accounts.

Auto-dialer proficiency paired with fast, accurate typing for live notes.

Knowledge of debt collection laws (FDCPA, TCPA, CFPB) to ensure full compliance.

Proven track record in payment negotiation, dispute resolution, and skip tracing.

Secure, quiet home workspace with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
PREFERRED SKILLS:

Experience with Microsoft Excel.
