Data Engineer 

Join a flourishing organization as a Data Engineer, where you will serve as an independent contributor designing and maintaining scalable, high-quality data solutions. In this role, you will take ownership of complex data pipelines and datasets, ensuring analytical precision while proactively resolving issues within established architectural frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage intricate data integrations and pipelines autonomously.

  • Convert business requirements into robust, maintainable technical architectures.

  • Refine data models, transformations, and queries to ensure peak performance.

  • Validate data integrity thoroughly before production and reporting use.

  • Resolve end-to-end reporting and data discrepancies with minimal oversight.

  • Apply coding best practices and contribute to evolving documentation and standards.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to meet evolving data and business needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional data engineering experience in enterprise environments (SQL or Oracle).

  • Proven background with SAP-BI/Crystal Reports and Power BI.

  • Experience in Python (coding from scratch or data manipulation) and MS Fabric.

  • Deep knowledge of ETL patterns, relational databases, and Enterprise BI ecosystems.

  • Understanding of Kimball/dimensional modeling and semantic models.

  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and version control.

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, or a related field.

  • Preferred: Experience with Cloud tools like Azure Data Factory or PySpark.

Schedule & Location: This is a direct-hire role based in Atlanta near Smyrna. The position follows a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
