In this role, you will take ownership of complex data pipelines and datasets, ensuring analytical precision while proactively resolving issues within established architectural frameworks.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage intricate data integrations and pipelines autonomously.
Convert business requirements into robust, maintainable technical architectures.
Refine data models, transformations, and queries to ensure peak performance.
Validate data integrity thoroughly before production and reporting use.
Resolve end-to-end reporting and data discrepancies with minimal oversight.
Apply coding best practices and contribute to evolving documentation and standards.
Partner with cross-functional teams to meet evolving data and business needs.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of professional data engineering experience in enterprise environments (SQL or Oracle).
Proven background with SAP-BI/Crystal Reports and Power BI.
Experience in Python (coding from scratch or data manipulation) and MS Fabric.
Deep knowledge of ETL patterns, relational databases, and Enterprise BI ecosystems.
Understanding of Kimball/dimensional modeling and semantic models.
Familiarity with DevOps principles and version control.
Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, or a related field.
Preferred: Experience with Cloud tools like Azure Data Factory or PySpark.
Schedule & Location: This is a direct-hire role based in Atlanta near Smyrna. The position follows a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
