We are seeking a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven Electronic Security Service Technician to join our team. You’ll install and service a variety of security systems at hospitals across Iowa.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as our customer’s best service provider, ensuring we remain their first choice.
Respond promptly to service calls, maintenance, and emergency after-hours requests.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts; resolve routine problems.
Isolate and fix technical or software issues quickly and accurately.
Analyze repair needs, provide solutions, and complete required work.
Complete detailed service reports for accurate billing and tracking.
Install, configure, and support access control, video, and intrusion systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Work with team members to share knowledge and improve operations.
Provide checkout, troubleshooting, and maintenance on assigned projects.
Travel locally to customer sites; minimal overnight travel may be needed.
This is a direct-hire position supporting hospital installations statewide. Main office is in Metro Des Moines, Key areas: Cedar Rapids, and Sioux City. Company vehicle and gas card provided.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3+ years servicing, integrating, and programming access control, video, and intrusion systems
Strong troubleshooting and technical skills
Mechanical/electrical aptitude; proficient with hand and power tools
