Are you an engineer who obsesses over long-term viability? We are looking for a Forward Deployed Sustainability Engineer to join our High-Impact Solutions Group. In this role, you aren’t just building for today; you are the architect of endurance, ensuring that sophisticated data and AI solutions scale, thrive, and deliver continuous value within a global fintech ecosystem.
This is a premier fit for engineers who find “the sizzle” in making systems last and preventing capability atrophy in high-stakes environments.
You will take ownership of high-value solutions at the point of production, ensuring they remain reliable and widely adopted. This is a high-visibility, forward-deployed position requiring 10-30% travel to partner directly with stakeholders on-site.
Operational Ownership: Assume technical stewardship of productionized solutions to ensure ongoing performance and business integration.
Lifecycle Management: Develop protocols for versioning, dependency management, and sunset criteria to maintain platform hygiene.
Health Monitoring: Monitor solution health via Foundry and AIP Observability tooling to proactively identify and tune degradation signals.
Enablement: Build high-quality documentation and training templates to empower end users and reduce reliance on core engineering teams.
Value Realization: Partner with business units to track ROI, creating performance dashboards and value-case white papers.
Architectural Feedback: Identify scalability constraints and provide insights to platform leads to inform future global standards.
Proven Engineering Background: Experience focusing on the sustainability and scaling of production-level data/AI solutions.
Platform Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Palantir Foundry and/or AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform) observability and tooling.
Lifecycle Mastery: Strong background in Lifecycle Management, including versioning and dependency management.
Strategic Communication: Ability to translate technical complexity into clear stakeholder enablement materials.
This is a direct-hire position based in Atlanta, GA, or Austin, TX, with a hybrid schedule (up to 2 days telecommute).
