HR Generalist
Exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist to support in functional areas of Human Resources including but not limited to recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training, AA/EEO, and special projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly and salaried positions, and coordinate onboarding and orientation to ensure a seamless transition.
Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries, facilitate conflict resolution, conduct objective investigations, and promote a positive, cooperative workplace climate.
Maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date physical and digital employee records, ensuring strict confidentiality.
Assist with job evaluations, market pricing, and compensation management, while supporting local administration of health benefits, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
Identify training needs, facilitate internal workshops, and support professional development programs aligned with company objectives.
Ensure all employment practices align with Affirmative Action (AA) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines.
Partner with HR leadership to develop, update, and implement comprehensive HR policies and procedures.
Drive the dissemination of company policies through the creation of employee booklets, internal newsletters, clear digital communications, and all-hands meetings.
Ensure alignment between corporate policies and local manufacturing plant practices.
Prepare, maintain, and submit timely reports in strict conformance with local, state, and federal legislated requirements such as OSHA, EEO-1, FMLA, and FLSA.
Generate internal HR metrics and ad-hoc analytics to support data-driven decision-making for organizational needs.
Act as a proactive resource for the manufacturing team, securing cooperation across all levels while balancing employee advocacy with business objectives.
Demonstrate agility to effectively pivot between rapidly changing short-term priorities and structured long-term plans.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
Exceptional emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively at all levels from the shop floor to executive leadership.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex policy changes clearly and empathetically.
Strong analytical and job-evaluation skills with a proven track record of resolving complex employee relations issues.
Proficiency with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and the MS Office Suite.
Strong service-oriented attitude and a high sense of urgency regarding business demands.
