We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Data Engineer & Architect to oversee and optimize our enterprise data infrastructure — a technical leader who thrives on building scalable data systems, not managing people.
What You’ll Do

Lead data engineering and operations for our enterprise data platform.

Design and build scalable, modular cloud data solutions (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Develop batch and real-time data pipelines using Spark, Scala, Hive SQL, and Kafka.

Drive automation, governance, and quality across the data lifecycle.

Collaborate with IT, analytics, and business teams to deliver actionable data.

Ensure compliance with HITRUST, HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC-II.

Implement strategies for data accuracy, availability, and recovery.

Evaluate and recommend modern data tools, frameworks, and vendors.
What You Bring

7 to 10 years in data management, engineering, and operations.

5+ years hands-on building cloud-based data platforms (prefer Azure). Must be currently 80%+ hands on.
- Deep experience in ETL/ELT, streaming architectures, and data modeling.

Strong technical background with Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lakes, etc.

Medical claims experience.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
This is a 3-month contract-to-hire role with potential for management growth.
