Payroll Manager | High Impact Role
Ready to own payroll from top to bottom and build something best in class? This is a high-visibility role inside a fast-paced organization where payroll is viewed as strategic, not transactional.
You will take full ownership of multi-cycle payroll operations across the US and International while helping modernize processes for long-term scale.
What You’ll Do
• Lead end-to-end payroll processing across US semi-monthly, US bi-weekly, and International monthly cycles
• Serve as system administrator for the payroll platform
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of earnings, deductions, benefits, and tax reporting
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and international regulations
• Manage bonus calculations and tracking, including complex variable comp structures
• Administer equity-based compensation programs
• Oversee year-end payroll activities, including W-2, 1099, and related reporting
• Prepare and validate annual compensation statements
• Develop and maintain payroll documentation, policies, and internal controls
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve scalability
• Partner closely with HR and Finance on onboarding, offboarding, and reporting
• Act as the go-to resource for payroll-related questions
What You Bring
• 4+ years of progressive payroll experience, including full ownership and management of the payroll
• Strong accounting foundation
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience managing multiple payroll cycles
• Familiarity with equity and incentive compensation programs
• High level of discretion and comfort handling confidential data
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive mindset
