Project Operations Analyst

In this role, you will work on supporting cross-functional partners on mini-projects. These are all part of a larger capital initiative for the organization. The position combines aspects of project coordination, data tracking, data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Taking project intake notes and putting them in a project tracker
  • Auditing and Quality Check Project Plans
  • Data Tracking and Reporting in Excel – building and updating weekly reports
  • Distributing weekly reports in Excel
  • Acting as a liaison between cross-functional partners – coordinating project updates between team members, and following up on tasks
  • Filtering Tableau dashboards for real-time data to report on (no presentation required)

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3 years of professional work experience as a Data Analyst, Project Analyst or Project Coordinator 
  • Experience working in a retail environment
  • Intermediate Excel skills – ability to do VLOOKUPS, SUMIFs Pivot tables, SUMIF, IF/THEN statements – working in Excel daily
  • Experience building and distributing reports in Excel
  • Experience interacting and following regularly with cross-functional partners
  • Exposure to a data visualization tool (filtering data to view) Tableau preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics Operations, Process Improvement or similar field) 
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong organization and coordination – Strong follow-up skills
  • Excellent communication skills
