Project Planning Analyst

In this role, you will work on several mini-projects currently in the planning and execution phases, all part of a larger capital initiative for the organization. The position combines aspects of project management, data analysis, scheduling, research, inventory management, customer relations, problem-solving, and process improvement

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Collecting and gathering information from field store partners to initiate project creation
  • Auditing project readiness within the internal web-based system
  • Acting as a liaison between field teams and cross-functional partners to ensure all milestones are met
  • Placing orders for labor, outbound shipments, and direct-to-store deliveries
  • Assisting field partners with scheduling and addressing one-off issues
  • Managing post-reset implementations and ensuring successful execution

This is a 18-month contract position with the potential for extension or conversion to a direct hire in the Atlanta area. This role is in the office Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3 years of professional work experience as a Project Analyst, Coordinator or Project Manager 
  • Experience running a project from start to finish (full lifecycle) – understand scope and how you run a project from start to finish
  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics Operations, Process Improvement or similar field) 
  • Intermediate Excel skills – ability to do VLOOKUPS, SUMIFs Pivot tables, SUMIF, IF/THEN statements, and Macros – working in Excel daily
  • Experience interacting with cross-functional partners
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
