SAP QA Lead

We are seeking a skilled Testing Lead to drive the end-to-end (E2E) testing strategy, governance, and execution for SAP S/4HANA transformation programs. You will collaborate with business, IT, and system integrators to validate cross-functional processes, integrations, and controls, ensuring full readiness for production deployment.

This is an excellent 6-month+ contract opportunity for a detail-oriented QA Lead wiht deep SAP S/4 Hana experience.  You will work onsite two days a week in Alpharetta.  Often, the on-site days are Tuesday and Wednesday, but this is subject to change.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Test Strategy & Execution: Lead E2E testing across SIT, UAT, and regression cycles, applying risk-based approaches to prioritize critical scenarios.

  • Scenario & Data Planning: Coordinate E2E test scenario design, script development, and test data planning across all workstreams.

  • Governance & Reporting: Enforce testing standards, facilitate governance forums (e.g., daily stand-ups, defect triage), and provide executive-level progress and risk reporting.

  • Defect Management: Own the full defect lifecycle—from triage to closure—ensuring prompt resolution and re-testing.

  • Compliance & Readiness: Ensure alignment with SOX/audit requirements (evidence and control validation) and oversee test environment and security role readiness.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

  • SAP S/4HANA Experience: Hands-on E2E testing leadership for at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation in a complex landscape (e.g., Coupa, Kinaxis, Workday, Concur). SAP S/4HANA functional experience and certification is preferred.

  • Testing Expertise: Deep understanding of SIT, UAT, regression, and integration testing methodologies.

  • Tools: Strong experience using Azure DevOps for work management and full-traceability test management.

  • Compliance: Proven background supporting SOX and internal controls testing.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities tailored for a fast-paced, multi-vendor, global delivery environment.
