Security Installer

Exciting opportunity to join a growing security team with the largest privately owned security integrator in the world.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install security, life safety, and/or building automation systems with guidance as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine installation procedures
  • Operate systems to test, commission, and identify issues; write basic programs as required
  • Serve as a key technical contact, ensuring strong customer satisfaction
  • Consult with engineering to resolve system operation or warranty issues
  • Provide feedback on product performance, install standards, and improvements
  • Handle technical tasks such as programming, graphics, certification testing, training, and support
  • Identify project risks and support strategies to minimize cost/schedule impacts

This is a direct hire position on client sites in the La Palma area, surrounding region, or in office, with little to no overnight travel. Great team, strong growth path, and supportive work culture! Includes company truck, tools, PPE, uniform, cell phone, and laptop.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3+ years of experience installing security (access control, intrusion, CCTV) 
  • Past experience working for a commercial security integrator 
  • Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude; experience with hand and power tools
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license

PLUS SKILLS:

  • Certifications: Lenel, Genetec, Software House, Bosch, Avigilon, DMP, etc.
  • Programming experience
