 Senior Laboratory Informatics Analyst

Ready to step into a high-impact role with an organization that prides itself on excellence? This newly created position is a chance to shape the future of a growing lab environment and elevate system performance across multiple sites.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion improvements to enterprise-wide lab workflows within a major clinical information system, including support for a new centralized laboratory.

  • Standardize processes across several locations while keeping a system-level perspective rather than being tied to a single facility.

  • Evaluate, optimize, and refine clinical EHR workflows; partner with clinicians to enhance efficient and accurate system use.

  • Maintain adherence to privacy regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.

  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives and advise leadership on informatics strategy.

  • Facilitate collaborative planning sessions, document workflow needs, and translate business requirements into system solutions.

  • Act as a subject-matter expert on system configuration, enhancements, and lifecycle improvements.

  • Stay current on emerging technologies and help vet new ideas or system concerns.

  • Collaborate with training teams to develop clear, effective user education materials.

  • Mentor staff involved in operational or process-improvement projects.

  • Support analysis, testing, and rollout of new systems and organizational growth initiatives.

  • Perform approved low-risk system build tasks and partner with application teams for testing.

  • Provide go-live assistance when needed.

This is a direct-hire role offering a hybrid schedule—about two days onsite weekly in the northwest Atlanta suburbs, with increased remote flexibility after onboarding. Occasional travel (no more than twice per year) is expected. The organization offers excellent benefits, including retirement match, tuition assistance, wellness programs, and family-focused support.
