Senior Systems Engineer
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Systems Engineer to join our Information Technology (IT) team. The Senior Systems Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining their complex systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, configure, and rebuild servers, hardware, and storage according to standards, while conducting daily system monitoring to ensure data integrity and backup completion
- Serve as a Tier 2 escalation point to troubleshoot complex issues, provide detailed analyses for Tier 3 escalation, and manage incidents, problems, and change requests via ServiceNow.
- Develop and maintain installation procedures, create technical and non-technical “how-to” guides, provide training to Tier 1 support, and strictly adhere to enterprise security and change management protocols.
- Manage small-to-medium IT projects from conception to budget completion, while researching and recommending automated approaches and enhancements to optimize the enterprise environment.
This is a 6-month contract position. This role is onsite, Monday – Friday in Alpharetta.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 5+ years of experience as a systems engineer, with a track record of successful system implementations and administration.
- Strong knowledge of systems, including servers, virtualization, storage, and backup solutions.
- Expertise in system security practices and protocols.
- Proficiency in system monitoring and management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
