Service Technician (Security)

Exciting opportunity to join a growing security team with the largest privately owned security integrator in the world. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Acts as our customers best service provider at all times
  • Respond to routine and some non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, and emergency and after-hours service calls on a timely basis; diagnose, troubleshoot, repair
  • Use solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
  • Identifies and resolves problems for many types of service calls, including emergency and after-hours calls; analyzes repair requirements and provides customers with appropriate solutions
  • Completes accurate and detailed service reports for customer in a timely manner to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
  • May provide custom systems integrations, detailed systems upgrade planning and execution, systems audits and consultation, and/or database management and manipulation. May install, configure, and support a variety of network systems and equipment for assigned projects.
  • Work closely with other specialists to cross-train on servicing existing customers by responding to service calls, carrying out Customer Support Programs and small projects business.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

This is a direct hire position. This position is on site everyday. You will be at a customer sites 5 days a week with little to no overnight travel. This is a great opportunity with a wonderful team! REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3+ years of service experience with security (Access control, Intrusion, CCTV, etc.) 
  • Programming and Access Control experience  
  • Enterprise Certifications (Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon)
  • Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Experience with MS office application
  • Valid driver’s license 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Security certifications/licenses  (Lenel, Genetec, Software house, Bosch, Avigilon, DMP, etc.)
