Senior Manufacturing Business Systems Analyst

A leading, global industrial manufacturer is seeking a high-caliber Senior Business Systems Analyst to spearhead technology-driven business analysis and process discovery across our core enterprise domains.

You will serve as the strategic bridge between Corporate IT and major manufacturing business units. You will collaborate with platform teams, developers, and business owners to translate complex requirements into scalable platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment: Act as the primary link between business partners, delivery teams, and IT leadership to shape operational demand.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with stakeholders across manufacturing, Quality, HSE, and Engineering to ensure solutions align with real-world plant environments.

  • Value Realization: Drive business case validation, establish expected outcomes, and track realized value post-implementation.

  • Technical Collaboration: Partner with functional BAs, developers, and architects to guarantee functional design quality and proactive risk mitigation.

  • Process Transformation: Promote continuous improvements in safety, quality, and operational reliability via value stream mapping and flowcharting.

  • Fit-to-Standard Focus: Evaluate SaaS and packaged platforms, minimizing customization by aligning processes to scalable, out-of-the-box capabilities.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst within a manufacturing environment.

  • Deep knowledge of end-to-end core processes (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report).

  • Proven experience in process design, flowcharting, and value stream mapping.

  • Background in large-scale software implementations (SaaS/packaged platforms).

  • Expertise in UAT/QA testing plans, data assessment, and IT governance/compliance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business.

  • Must be authorized to work in the US (No sponsorship available).

Compensation & Perks

  • Location: Hybrid (2 days remote) in Irvine, CA. Relocation assistance available.

  • Salary: Estimated at $110,000-$135,000 base, DOE.
