An organization is seeking a detail-oriented analyst to support procurement and supply chain operations in the Atlanta area. This role focuses on analyzing spend data, improving purchasing processes, and identifying cost-saving opportunities through better sourcing and supplier engagement.
Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze spend data across departments to establish baselines and identify opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to understand challenges and improvement areas
Perform category and market analysis, including pricing trends, benchmarks, and supplier landscape
Support sourcing strategies, including supplier evaluation and negotiation preparation
Develop total cost of ownership models and prioritize initiatives
Assess supplier performance using KPIs and scorecards
Identify alternative suppliers, new market options, and process improvements
Document current workflows and support future-state process enhancements
Maintain procurement data in ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Communicate effectively with stakeholders
Details: Long-term contract (9+ months) with potential extension or conversion. Hybrid schedule requiring most days onsite in Midtown Atlanta. Assignment expected through end of 2026. Modern office environment with amenities.
Qualifications:
3–5 years in procurement, supply chain, data analysis, or related field
Experience with tools such as SAP, Power BI, Tableau, Python, or SQL
Knowledge of strategic sourcing, RFI/RFP processes, and supplier evaluation
Ability to support contract negotiations and cost optimization efforts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Supply chain certification
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
