Are you a skilled Help Desk professional looking to make an immediate impact? A top-tier organization is seeking a versatile IT Support Specialist for a contract engagement running through September 1, 2026.
This role features a blend of in-person desk-side support and phone/help desk support in the DFW metro area.
Issue Resolution: Triage and resolve Tier I, II, and III technical incidents spanning hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
User Satisfaction: Validate solutions with internal teams and meticulously update the corporate ticketing system.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with infrastructure, security, database, and applications teams.
Compliance & Documentation: Strictly adhere to IT security protocols and actively contribute to the internal knowledge base.
Continuous Improvement: Support ongoing technical projects and drive service optimization.
Experience: 3+ years in a dedicated technical support or system administration role.
Core Tech Stack: Proven expertise with Windows OS, MS Office, and Active Directory.
Hardware & Systems: Skilled in network troubleshooting, PC imaging/configuration, and validating system encryption.
Soft Skills: Exceptional customer service, clear communication, and strong documentation habits.
Logistics: Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle (for local equipment transport), and a smartphone for business communication.
Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, participate in an on-call rotation, and support occasional weekend needs.
Screening: Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening (excluding marijuana).
